The first shipment of Covid-19 vaccinations arrived in Somaliland on Tuesday.

More than 65000 people will be benefiting from the inoculation across the country.

It is expected that health workers, teachers and other employees will be receiving the shots.

Health Minister, Omar Ali Abdilahi, said that SL received the first batch of the vaccination.

The minister said that another shipment will be coming to SL as the target is to inoculate 20 percent of the population.
