Two decomposing bodies, believed to be those of a couple that was reported missing on 05 December 2020 at Kankudi village in the Kavango West Region have been found.
A Namibian Police Force (NamPol) report availed to Nampa on Thursday said that the alleged two decomposing bodies were discovered on Tuesday at around 13h00.
According to the report, the discovery was made by a passerby, who then alerted the police.
Upon the arrival of the police at the scene, the report said the police allegedly discovered a shotgun and two spent cartridges.
The deceased persons were positively identified as 34-year-old David Wase, and 43-year-old Pauline Ndara, both residents of Kankudi village.
The deceased’s next of kin have been informed of their deaths and police investigations continue.
