The second COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic opened at the Southern Region Community Health Center in Inajaran reached its capacity early and some people had to be turned away.

According to PNC sources, even before the center opened at 9 am, people were already being turned away because all its 200 doses were already accounted for.

Public Health spokesperson Janela Carrera confirmed that the southern clinic has already reached its quota and wont be accepting any more vaccinations today.

“We already reached our 200 quota, we were issuing 200 tickets and we already reached that capacity,” Carrera said.

She added that the vaccination clinic up north at Okkodo is close to reaching capacity too.

Both Okkodo and the southern center will be open tomorrow as well.
