MANILA – Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Gen. Debold Sinas on Friday ordered a massive manhunt in Metro Manila against four suspects who escaped from a temporary detention facility of a police station in Quezon City.

In a report to Camp Crame, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Brig. Gen. Danilo Macerin identified the fugitives as Glenn Louie Limin, Marvin Inciong, Joel Sanchez, and Ronald Buenafe who escaped from the QCPD Station 11 on Thursday.

“The fact that these offenders escaped detention only shows they would rather continue to defy the law instead of submitting themselves to the jurisdiction of the justice system. As such, they may be considered dangerous and a threat to the community,” Sinas said in a statement.

He also advised tracker teams to “approach these persons with caution and not to give them any opportunity to make the first move”.

Sinas also instructed all police officers to maintain a periodic security survey of detention facilities and temporary lock-up jails in police stations in Metro Manila to ensure compliance with PNP standards on the upkeep, design, and management of these facilities. (PNA)
